WHAT ARE ANTI-WRINKLE AND BOTOX INJECTIONS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
Anti-wrinkle injectables work by temporarily blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles.
The muscles are temporarily unable to contract and therefore become relaxed. This results in them being unable to force the skin into creases and the skin becomes greatly softened. This results is a more relaxed appearance of the face as a whole, creating a much more youthful look. This injectable takes around two weeks to become fully effective.
This treatment not only offers a quick solution to lines and wrinkles but they also act as a further preventative. If the muscle is unable to force the overlying skin into creases, then the skin is prevented from looking lined when the face is at rest, therefore the treated areas do not continue to age at the normal rate.
The result from this treatment last around 12 weeks but can last anything up to 16 weeks. I am keen to achieve maximum results for every client, every time. I ensure I use the correct and appropriate doses in each client for best efficacy.

What Areas Can Be Treated with Anti-Wrinkle Injectables?
The 3 Main Areas:
Upper forehead.
Lines between the eyebrows (glabellar region/frown lines).
Crows feet around the eyes.
Teeth Grinding/TMJ/Bruxism:
Many people suffer with teeth grinding. This treatment can significantly reduce this and in many cases, stop the headaches that this can cause, as it also reduces the tension in the muscles that connect to the temple areas. We are also able to create a slimmer lower face as these muscles are softened, therefore resulting in a better lower facial contour.
Nefertiti Neck Lift:
The large platysma muscle in the neck can look very stringy and unsightly. This then also pulls down quite strongly on the lower face, dragging down the corners of the mouth and and creating a heavy jowl. If we target this muscle we will not only can reduce this stringy appearance, but it will give the neck a more elongated look, and prevent it from further dragging down on the jowls by relaxing and softening them which will create a softer jawline. This is known as the Nefertiti neck lift.
Chin:
The chin can often become dimpled, flat and more upturned creating a unflattering shape to the face. By treating specific muscles in this region, we can relax the pitted and dimpled skin, relaxing and softening the chin creating a more feminine result.
