WHAT IS UNDER EYE REPLACEMENT THERAPY?
This is a safe injectable treatment. Several tiny spots of product are placed in the superficial layers of the skin underneath and around the eye.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED, TO SEE A RESULT?
3 x sessions are required initially; once every 7-10 days in order to obtain a full result. One session on its own will not have any effect - you need the full 3 sessions.
Should you wish to continue the treatment, maintenance is then one session, once or twice per year thereafter in order to maintain collagen production so you do not have to 'start again' with your treatment.
In an ideal world, after your initial 3 sessions 7-10 days apart, you would have one session every 3 months for optimum results, but one session every 6 months can still have a great effect and longevity.
WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME - WILL I BRUISE?
We would be lying if we said you will not bruise as the undereye is a very sensitive area prone to bruising.
Each session is 7-10 days apart, so the 3 initial sessions you need are done very quickly so you won't be coming monthly with potential bruises each month for 4 months.
The bruising is very short lived, plus we use high grade TSK needles which are changed often throughout the procedure to limit bruising to an absolute minimum and for your comfort, but ultimately at the end of the day, a few days of bruising in exchange for 6 months+ of beautiful under eyes, we feel is a fair exchange.

HOW DOES UNDER EYE REPLACEMENT THERAPY WORK?
It gives the skin a very natural density and thickening. This gives us hydration and eliminates the loose, crepey skin. This improves dark circles as the density creates distance between the muscle and the surface of the skin which leaves us with a lighter appearing skin.
WHAT IS THE SCIENCE BEHIND UNDER EYE REPLACEMENT THERAPY AND WHY DOES THIS TREATMENT WORK BETTER THAN OTHER UNDER EYE INJECTABLES?
Most practitioners simply use products they have been 'told' work or have been heavily marketed to, without doing their own research or studies into ingredients, and without comparison to other products.
Very often they have no understanding nor supporting evidence and sadly, this just leads to disappointed clients.
The product I choose to use which is Jalupro, is based on science, clinical trials and evidence-based visible results.
Most skin creams on the market contain around 90% water in them. The other 10% makes up a number of ingredients which are not pure enough to actually deliver any kind of result. Too many ingredients not doing very much, rather than a purer cream that can actually make a difference.
Skin requires amino acids in order to be able to create collagen. Most products contain mainly water and hyaluronic acid (HA). These companies claim that hyaluronic acid (HA) alone creates collagen, but without the support of amino acids the skin can form VERY little collagen indeed. And studies have been done to support this.
HA can be injected into the skin, but when it is gone, it is gone. It does not change or improve the skin health moving forward and the effects do not last longer than a few weeks.
We can even inject water/saline into the skin and make it look hydrated, but this does nothing for us in the long term. The same applies to HA.
In addition, there are also many types of amino acids, and not ALL of them are essential for collagen production. This injectable product is a purified blend of specific quantities in order to deliver VERY targeted results.
