What is Microneedling?
Whilst needling works very well to target lines, wrinkles, scarring and stretch marks, it is not exclusive to these issues. Needling is a superb monthly 'maintenance' facial to have monthly, as it encourages the skin cells to produce collagen at a faster rate, therefore providing excellent overall benefits to the skin-rather like a good monthly workout that keeps the skin working hard to be at its best and functioning well.
A hand held device with a cartridge of very fine needles is pushed gently onto the skin created very controlled punctures. It is used to treat wrinkles, sagging skin, acne scarring, stretch marks, age spots and pigmentation . This can be used on any part of the body including eye areas and tummies. This then forces the skin to naturally 'fix and repair' the site. During this process the skin very quickly produces collagen and elastin, resulting in firmer, tighter, bouncier, smoother skin.
Skin serums, specifically targeted to the individual clients needs, are used during this treatment. These serums are pushed into the dermal layers of the skin, delivering further benefits for added results.
Skin is noticeably smoother and tighter.

More collagen and elastin is produced which results in a
bouncier, firmer, skin. It helps acne scarring, lines, wrinkles, sagging skin
and reduces appearance of scars and stretch marks. Whilst the effects are not
as immediate or permanent as the fibroblast treatment, this does work with a
series of treatments taken every 4 to 6 weeks, over a period of approximately 6
months, with a maintenance of around 6 to 9 monthly thereafter. This treatment
can also be used around the delicate eye areas.
Is there any downtime?
The skin may be pink or sensitive for 24 to 48 hours. There
may be slight swelling. Makeup can be worn after 24 hours.
